During your first visit your Physiotherapist will start to get to know you by doing an interview and assessment. As always, this is a one on one session with your therapist and a perfect opportunity to detail your issue/injury, your concerns as they relate to your life, family, work, your pain and how it has affected your daily life. After your assessment, your Physiotherapist will discuss their findings and together you will make a plan and working timeline to work toward achieving your goals. Often your first treatment will begin on your first day as well. Ask as many questions as you like- one of our main priorities is making sure our patients go home with a clear understanding of their issue, how to treat it and how they can help through exercises etc between treatments in clinic. We are right there with you from Initial Assessment to Discharge. We succeed when you succeed!
